Returns and Corrections

Our return policy varies based upon the item ordered.

CSA
Shareholders are made aware when joining the CSA program that final product amounts are estimates and not guaranteed. As such, we have a no returns or refunds policy for CSA memberships. We do, however, do our absolute best to honor the intended yield of our shares. We have increased the number of chickens distributed when a batch came in under weight, and purchased partially grown turkeys from a farm with similar management practices when ours were lost in a fire. In short, while members assume the risk inherent in seasonal agricultural ventures, we do everything in our power to mitigate that risk.

Baked Goods
General bakery items We cannot accept returns of food products once they have been opened. We will, however, issue a full refund on items that do not meet your satisfaction
Custom baked goods deposits on custom cakes and other similar items are non-refundable. We will not charge the rest of the price for any custom order with which a customer is dissastified

Wood Crafts
General Shop Products If a pre-made piece arrives broken, damaged, or defective, we will repair, replace, or refund it according to your preference. Customers who cannot come to the shop will need to pay for return shipping.
Custom Pieces All custom furniture comes with a one year warranty for major failures, as well as a lifetime refinishing guarantee, so long as failures and finishing problems are encountered through normal and intended use of the product. Sweet Wind Farm will repair or replace as needed, no questions asked. If shipped furniture arrives damaged, we ask that you refuse delivery so that an insurance claim can be made. Deposits on custom pieces are nonrefundable once materials have been acquired (we will notify you when this happens). Our process for custom work involves ongoing communication with clients to ensure the work meets expectations. As such, refunds and replacements will not be offered on functional pieces in good repair that the client has decided they do not want.
